Skiers rejoice! It's a little bit early to think about opening for the season, but it sure is nice to see, and opening day is not really that far away now... just a matter of weeks

A few rain showers passing through this morning, but some sunny breaks as well, enough to create a spectacular rainbow, stretching across the valley from Bretton Woods.

Bretton Woods concluded lift inspections today, so we're ready to go when the snow flies. We are also making terrain improvements to our Learning Center this week.

Snow is in the forecast for tomorrow in the higher elevations, and the current plan is to start making snow in late October/early November, weather permitting. We're about 6 weeks away and counting until opening day!!

Don't forget, life is still exciting during the summer and fall at Bretton Woods! The Bretton Woods Canopy Tour operates daily all year long, so come up and fly with us!

As the clouds broke over Bretton Woods this afternoon, a spectacular white-capped summit of Mt. Washington was unveiled. Almost takes your breath away.

The first group out on Bretton Woods Canopy Tour at Omni Mount Washington Resort got a nice greeting of snow flurries as they arrived at the top of the course this morning. By the time they finished their tour, the sun was peaking through the clouds!
